Josef Kote brings his representational abstract works to Ponte Vedra Beach’s newest art gallery

New York-based artist Josef Kote is coming to town to open an exhibit at Cutter and Cutter Fine Art, 333 Village Main St., No. 640, Ponte Vedra Beach.

The artist will be present at a pair of receptions from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight and Saturday.

Kote’s success has been anchored by a style combining colorful representational art with elements of abstraction.

“For nearly five years, collectors from across the country have gravitated toward the landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and figurative paintings of this Albanian-born American phenomenon — whose presence in our galleries has lifted our entire collector base,” Len Cutter, owner of Cutter and Cutter Fine Art, says.

The gallery will display over 30 original works along with several choices in limited edition prints.
