■ Because of an editor’s error, a photo cutline accompanying a story on the Lighthouse Museum in The Record’s Compass content online on Aug. 8 was incorrect. There is a charge for admission to all visitors in the month of October.

■ Because of a correspondent’s error, there were inaccuracies in a column in The Record on Thursday about vehicle registration and license renewal. The St. Johns County Tax Collector’s office has not stopped the practice of mailing out courtesy reminder notices of vehicle registration and license renewal to residents. The office works in concert with Tallahassee DHSMV to notify vehicle owners between 60 to 90 days prior to expiration. Failure to receive a renewal notice could be the result of a variety of reasons, none of which is within in the control of the St. Johns County Tax Collector’s office.
