‘Coney Island Christmas’
The Limelight Theatre is getting into the Christmas spirit with its production of “Coney Island Christmas” running throug Dec. 23. The play attempts to capture the timeless tale of what it means to be an American during the holidays. It tells the story of Shirley Abramowitz, a young Jewish girl who is cast as Jesus in the school’s Christmas pageant. Black Raven’s Christmas Treasure Hunt
The Pirate Ship Black Raven is serving up Christmas on the high seas with Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunt at 2:15 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 24. The tour begins when Blackbeard and Captain Hook board the Black Raven and steal the ship’s treasure. The Black Raven then pursues the ship and a battle ensues. Gingerbread Man 10K/5K Dash
This fun, family friendly run has established itself as a holiday tradition at World Golf Village. The seventh annual run/walk is set for 8 a.m. Saturday at 500 S. Legacy Trail. At the end of the race, participants can indulge in gingerbread cookies as well as other snacks and drinks provided by PDQ and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. The Dance Company will present its fifth annual St. Augustine “Winter Spectacular” at 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Lewis Auditorium, 14 Granada St. The family friendly show features professional and amateur dancers telling the story of young girl who embarks on a journey to the North Pole to return Santa Claus’ toy bag. The City of St. Augustine will kick off the Christmas season with its 63rd annual Christmas Parade at 9 a.m. Saturday. The parade will start at 9 a.m. near the Mission of Nombre de Dios and continue south down San Marco Avenue and along the bayfront on Avenida Menendez. The parade will turn west on Cathedral Place and travel north on Cordova Street, ending near the Visitors Information Center at the intersection of Orange and Cordova streets at approximately 11:30 a.m. For information, call 824-4997.

Christmas Tour of Homes
The Garden Club of St. Augustine will present its annual Christmas Tour of Homes from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown St. Augustine. Luminary Night at Lighthouse
The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum will light up during Luminary Night from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at 81 Lighthouse Ave. The event will include children’s activities, holiday crafts, refreshments and live music.
