Churches plan for summer Bible school

The Record

Now that school’s out, area churches are making plans for vacation Bible school.

Vacation Bible school offers a week of Bible-centric music, games and activities for young children home for the summer.

To share your church’s news, send details on summer Bible schools and other youth-oriented church activities to Laura Hampton at laura.hampton@staugustine.com.

Episcopal

Trinity Episcopal Parish will host Maker Fun Factory vacation Bible school June 12–15. From 9 a.m. to noon, children preschool age to fifth grade will participate in Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they can take home. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Funshop Finale that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for the Funshop Finale at 11:30 a.m. For information, call 824-2876.
