Flagler Hospital CEO Joe Gordy stepping down next year

Flagler Hospital president and CEO Joe Gordy will be stepping down next year and the hospital already has his successor lined up.

Gordy made his announcement Thursday at an employee “town hall meeting,” according to a Flagler Hospital news release.

Taking his place will be incoming hospital president Jason Barrett who will also assume that role immediately and take on the CEO role when Gordy relinquishes those duties in May 2018.

Barrett has most recently served the hospital as executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Gordy has been a leader at Flagler Hospital for 38 years and has served as president and CEO for the past 14, the news release said.
