St. Johns County FEMA Disaster Recovery Center closing Wednesday

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center located at the St. Johns County Agricultural Center, 3111 Agricultural Center Drive, will close at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Residents impacted by Hurricane Irma may still register for individual assistance by calling 800-621-3362 or online at disasterassistance.gov. The deadline to apply is Nov. 9.

Also, FEMA and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Task Force are hosting a seminar to review regulatory and compliance information for local communities recovering from Hurricane Irma from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the St. Johns County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View.

The seminar will feature representatives from FEMA’s Hazard Performance Analysis and Floodplain Management teams discussing local concerns and helping NFIP policyholders and stakeholders.
