GUEST COLUMN: Growth win a battle, not the war

Time to punish nuclear enablers

Editor: One thing seems to be missing from all the discussion about North Korea’s very rapid advances in both nuclear technology and missile delivery systems: who is helping them?

A small impoverished nation couldn’t do this without outside help. Even Iran, a much more technologically advanced country with far greater resources didn’t do it alone — Pakistan gave/sold them the technology.

Whoever it is, whether it’s Iran or Pakistan (possible), China or Russia (unlikely), or independent contractors, needs to be identified and dealt with very harshly. Our government needs to “out” them and make them international pariahs, cripple their economies and promote regime change. It’s time to stop rogue nations and psychotic dictators from dictating our foreign policy and keeping this world from being a better place.
