The Record’s too liberal? Nope
Editor: In response to this morning’s letter from Mr. and Mrs. Kendeigh complaining that The Record is too liberal, I beg to differ.
Every day our newspaper presents us with the latest information on what our illustrious president is doing to “make this country great again”: supporting a tax law that only helps his cronies in the long run, tearing down decades of national security policies that people way smarter than him have adhered to, trying to silence the CDC’s use of science-related language, finding new ways to destroy access to quality health care, especially for women, and supporting pedophiles as they run for Congress.
The list goes on and on and is reported faithfully by The Record.
Our newspaper also publishes stories about how the economy is growing, the housing market is thriving, unemployment is down, etc. All events that will enhance the portfolios of those who have portfolios, probably such as yourselves.
So actually what The Record is publishing is the truth.
But our president does not represent all the people. He is not creating policies that help all the citizens. He is creating an oligarchy that helps only those interested in fattening their portfolios and their wallets. Seems you are among that group that doesn’t care about all citizens, only those with portfolios. Seems you define that negatively as “liberal.”
I feel sorry for you and your ilk.
