Logan Henley scored two goals in the second half and Bartram Trail (8-0-1) defeated Menendez (6-2) in a St. Johns River Athletic Conference semifinal Wednesday. The Bears advance to tonight’s championship game at Nease. Bartram will play the winner of Wednesday’s Fleming Island-Nease contest at 7:20 p.m. Victoria Stachowiak scored with 19 minutes left in the first half to give Bartram Trail a 1-0 halftime lead. Maddie DeFranco and Taylor Redecki also scored in the second half for the Bears.

Steven Sifontes scored three goals to lead Ponte Vedra to a win over Orange Park. Noel Voegeli, James Rossi and Gabriel Moraes also scored for the Sharks.

Karissa Niles scored 21 points and Camille Hobby added 19 points and 11 rebounds as Nease won at home Wednesday. Kiya Turner had an all-around game for the Panthers (4-2) with 15 points, seven assists and eight rebounds. Mykah Eshbaugh pulled down 11 rebounds. Reedy Davenport led Bartram Trail (3-4) with 18 points, while Dana Art added 12. Bartram will visit St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Nease will meet Spruce Creek in a tournament at Flagler Palm Coast at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Kayla Mansell scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds for St. Joseph, which fell to Bishop Kenny at home. Jessamy Gaetanos added eight points. The Flashes (2-3) will visit Gainesville Oak Hall on Saturday at 5 p.m.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

The Flagler College women’s soccer team finished the year ranked No. 20 in the final United Soccer Coaches Division II poll. The Saints (16-3-2, 7-1-2 Peach Belt Conference) set school records for overall wins and conference wins and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the first time where it won an opening-round game. Flagler was ranked as high as No. 5 during the season.

Bishop Kenny’s long 3-pointer sent the game to overtime, and the Crusaders outscored host Ponte Vedra 10-7 in overtime to remain undefeated at 4-0. Jack Johnson recorded 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Sharks (1-3), while Logan Conway hit 5 of 6 3-point attempts and finished with 17 points and Ben Houser added 12 points and a team-high five assists.

Sophomore Grant Vaccaro led Bartram Trail (1-2) with 12 points, while Ryan Colbert scored 11 and Tim Plish added eight. Juwaun Davis scored 12 points for St. Augustine (1-3).

Sophomore Ty’vorus Lawton scored 18 points and junior Luke Magri added 14 for St. Joseph. Corey Walker and Chris Bailey scored 19 points apiece for Bishop Snyder.

Duval Charter outscored Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind 24-10 in the fourth quarter to hand the Dragons (3-1) their first loss of the season. Samy Vital led FSDB with 19 points, while Quintin Galpine added 15. The Dragons will play in the Hackney Classic on Friday and Saturday, hosted by Alabama School for the Deaf in Talladega.

Channing Chappell hit three 3-pointers and scored 14 points to lead Ponte Vedra to a 45-37 win. Tess Tibbits and Hayden Oates added eight points apiece. Adonne Tilman scored 19 points for Parker. The Sharks (4-0) will put their perfect record on the line tonight in a 7:30 home game against defending Class 6A state champ Ribault.
