Dreams Come True of Jacksonville and Switzerland Point Middle School’s Dreams Come True Club recently celebrated 4-year-old Caden Wood’s Walt Disney World Dream.
The Switzerland Point Dreams Come True Club has been hosting various fundraisers during the 2016-17 school year to help underwrite Caden’s dream trip. To date, the Switzerland Point Dreams Come True Club has raised more than $60,000 for the dreams of children on the First Coast.
When Caden was 15-months-old he received a bone marrow transplant for a genetic immune disorder, a condition that he shares with his brother, Caleb. Caden and his family have been in and out of hospitals for long periods of time, but today both Caden and his brother are disease free. With the support of Dreams Come True, Caden and his family can put their medical battles behind them and enjoy a weeklong adventure in Central Florida.
During their dream trip, the Wood family will be special guests at Give Kids The World, a magical village dedicated specifically to dream children and their families.
